First off--can we just all agree that the cast of characters on this thing is mind-bowing! I mean I give LnJ a 10 out of 10 just for assembling this phenomenal cast! And the music lives up to the expectations that a group like this generates! It rocks it rolls it dips, dives, sings, soars and just FORCES YOU TO BANG YOUR HEAD!
And it's got a nice eb and flow to it--with a great mix of hard hitters like "The Other Thief" and rock power-ballads like "Do what you believe".
Okay--I guess I gotta confess something here---I'm prejudice--I'm a huge fan of excellent musicianship and melodic heavy rock--which is EXACTLY WHAT THIS ALBUM IS ALL ABOUT. So--if you're a fan of death-speed-growl-screamo-thrash metal---uh... this probably won't be your cup of tea. But if you love hard-hitting, melodic, God-honoring, rock tunes -- with BIG choruses, killer riffs/hooks and grooves--performed by excellent musicians... then THIS IS YOUR CUP OF TEA!
One reviewer put it this way..."You woulda thought that you just popped the shrink wrap off a new Bon Jovi or Def Leppard or Firehouse or Vixen or Bulletboys disc." (9 out of 10 axes from White Throne Reviews)
All I can say is "Amen brother!"
Well worth picking up!
Metal blessings,
pb
