I had at one time one of the best collections of the late 80's -early 90's shreadder neck Carvins in exsistance.
Over the last couple of years that company sadly has gotten hostle to those of faith and after taking a brutal very personal internet beating from a couple of the Carvin mods I now refuse to play a Carvin on stage anymore. Sad because I played Carvin stuff allmost exclusively for over 15 years. Carvin was once a great company to do buisness with and they had MANY of faith working there but something has changed in Carvin land over the last three years or so.
I still have a couple of X220C's and a DC400 with the Fishman set up but have sold off most of my Carvins in the last two years.
Now if you like the poinity Carvins check this one out. It is a 1990 Pearl Pink reverse headstock X220C and this is one of only two out of the 20 or so vintage Carvins I had that I kept. The other one is a 1991 solid black X220C with the LS 175 22 fret 25.5 Strat scale neck option. It is quite possably the ONLY X220 built with a trem that had that option.

| BUMMER to hear about Carvin's fall from faith...
I had heard gret things about them -- in regards to these things... I wonder what happened ???

| Ku! I remember Adrian Smith had an Ibanez Destroyer---(that's what the guitar in Hoops pic look like) same body style as a Gibson Explorer... man, would I love to get my hands on one of those!!!
