| Over the year's I've heard of several "mainstream" metal/rock stars who've come to trust Christ... like
Eric Carr (Kiss) before his death...
Alice Cooper
Dave Mustain (Meagdeth)
Nicko McBrain (Iron Maiden)
Janie Lane (Warrant)
Bobby"blitz" Elthsworth (Overkill)
Jonathan Cain (Journey)
Can you think of others? |

- Mark Farner (Grand Funk Railroad)
The next two are thrash metal and doom metal, respectively, and probably lesser known but the music they produced after coming to faith in Jesus is some of the best IMHO:
- Ron Rinehart (Dark Angel, then with Oil which disbanded in 2004)
- Victor Griffin (Pentagram, then with Place of Skulls)

| I'm glad someone mentioned Marino great player.
What about both Alice Cooper and Michael Shenker.
I know it was Southern Rock ( the Outlaws ) but Rick Cua has done a LOT of stuff in the Christian hard rock veign.
There is also Glenn Hughes former singer for Deep Purple and Trapeze and Gregg Chaisson of Badlands who played with Die Happy and Red Sea. |
